Boston Medical Center is seeking an Ambulatory Services Representative I to support ambulatory access, patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification. This role requires strong communication, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment.
The position is part-time with rotating day/evening shifts, and includes responsibilities across front desk duties, MPI, scheduling, and pre-authorization. Prior clinical exposure is preferred.
The incumbent is responsible for coordinating all the functions and activities related to ambulatory patient access including, but not limited to: front end customer service, patient registration, insurance/coverage verification, appointment scheduling, charge entry, and a variety of administrative duties in support of department (such as, handling forms, phones, filing, making appointments, photocopying, faxing, mailings, letters, reports, etc.).

Part Time (Rotate Day/Evening, Per-Diem position which requires a minimum of two shifts per month Monday-Friday Regular business hours typically 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.)
Provides a variety of administrative duties in support of the practice (such as handling forms, phones, filing, making appointments, photocopying, faxing, mailings, letters, reports, etc.).
Other related duties as needed.
$20.23- $24.65
