Job summary

Boston Medical Center seeks an Operations Manager for the Center for Digestive Disorders to provide administrative oversight, business management, and program development across ambulatory services.

In collaboration with the Medical Director and Nurse Manager, you will supervise non-clinical staff, monitor compliance, and drive patient access, satisfaction, and cost-effective operations while promoting staff development and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Arts or Science) or equivalent work experience.
• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 5-7 years of related experience, with at least 3 years in management and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Provide admin oversight, business management, and program development for ambulatory services.
• Ensure optimal patient access, customer satisfaction, and cost-effective management.
• Supervise administrative and non-clinical staff.
• Monitor compliance with managed care plans and improve efficiency across practices.
• Lead staff training and foster a customer-focused environment.
