BMCHS is seeking an Operations Manager for the Center for Digestive Disorders in Boston. The role provides administrative oversight, program development, and collaboration with Medical Directors and a Nurse Manager within a matrix team.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 5–7 years of related experience, including management and budgeting. A Master’s in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5–7 years related experience.
• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related fields strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's or equivalent plus 3+ years management and budget experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative oversight, business management, and program development for ambulatory services.
• Ensure optimal patient access, customer satisfaction, and cost-effective management of the practice.
• Collaborate with Medical Director(s) and Nurse Manager in a matrix management team; supervise administrative staff.
• Monitor compliance with managed care plans; establish efficient work procedures and standards.
• Identify opportunities to increase patient volume while controlling expenses; lead leadership training for staff.
