Job summary

Elliot Health System seeks a Resource Nurse to oversee daily RN responsibilities and act as the immediate clinical resource on a designated unit and shift. You will support staff, guide clinical decisions, and contribute to real-time unit operations.

Requirements include BSN, 2+ years in acute care, NH RN licensure, and life support certification with upcoming specialty credentialing within six months. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN required or actively enrolled in a program.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in an acute care setting.
• Licensure: NH RN license required.
• Technical: Life support (BLS, ACLS) required.
• Professional Cert: Specialty cert within six months of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversees unit operations to ensure smooth shift-based patient flow.
• Serves as immediate clinical resource and guides staff on designated unit.
• Coaches and mentors staff; ensures timely performance reviews with Practice Manager.
• Ensures safety, quality, and cost-effective resource utilization during shifts.
• Acts as shift resource for new clinical staff during their first year.
