Job summary

Elliot Health System is expanding its Adult Step Down Unit and seeks a Resource Nurse to guide clinical staff on a 12-bed unit with telemetry capabilities. You will provide direct patient care, act as a shift resource, and participate in real-time operational support for days and nights.

Ideal candidates hold an NH RN license, BSN (or actively pursuing), and have at least three years in a progressive or critical care setting, with demonstrated leadership.

Qualifications

• BSN required or actively enrolled in program.
• Three+ years of experience in progressive, intermediate, or critical care setting.
• Clinical leadership experience such as Charge Nurse; RN license NH or compact license; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee unit operations and patient care on assigned shift.
• Serve as first-line clinical resource for staff on the unit.
• Collaborate with Nurse Manager and Administrative Supervisor for timely issue resolution.
