Job summary

Elliot Health System seeks a Resource Nurse to provide direct patient care and act as a frontline clinical resource for staff on a designated unit and shift. The role supports real-time operations, quality care, and staff mentorship within the unit’s management framework.

The ideal candidate has a BSN (or is actively enrolled), at least two years of acute care experience, NH RN licensure, and current life support certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN required or actively enrolled in a program.
• Minimum of two years of current acute care experience.
• RN license in New Hampshire required.
• Life support certification (BLS, ACLS, etc.) appropriate to patient population.
• Specialty certification required within six months of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and serves as an immediate clinical resource to staff on the designated unit and shift.
• Ensures smooth shift-based operations, patient flow, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Mentors staff, coaches performance, and serves as shift resource for new clinical staff.
• Supports governance structures and quality improvement within the department.
