Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support patient care in an ambulatory clinic. The LPN collaborates with physicians, RNs, and other healthcare professionals to provide direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The LPN provides nursing care under the supervision of a physician or RN, accepting delegated responsibilities to meet patient needs while following established nursing standards and applicable regulations.

Formación

• Completion of an approved nursing education program.
• Active LPN license through the South Dakota or Wyoming Board of Nursing, as applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare examination and treatment rooms according to clinic standards.
• Participate in pre-visit planning and prepare patients for appointments.
• Complete patient rooming procedures, including vital signs and data collection.
• Administer and accurately document medications according to established policies.
• Perform nursing procedures and treatments within the LPN scope of practice.
• Conduct and document patient assessments and clinical interventions in collaboration with the RN/provider.
• Reinforce patient education and discharge instructions provided by the RN/provider.
• Perform independent nurse visits as permitted by scope of practice and department policies.
• Assist with inbox management, patient referrals, and prior authorizations.
• Support onboarding and mentoring of clinical staff as directed.
• Participate in department meetings, training, and continuing education.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
