Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our patient care team. You will assist physicians, perform labs, administer medications, and support IV therapy under supervision. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

You will document patient information, educate patients, and participate in quality initiatives while adhering to safety and procedural guidelines. BLS and an accredited PN program are required.

Competenze

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required in the state where practicing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 45 days unless exempted by leadership
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program

Mansioni

• Prepare patient for exam by obtaining vitals and updating health information
• Perform lab procedures using aseptic technique and standard precautions
• Assist physician with procedures and surgeries (e.g., pelvic exams, scratch testing, EMG)
• Administer medications per orders, including immunizations and IV therapy when appropriate
• Provide patient education and coordinate tests, refills, and referrals
• Communicate with the health care team and document patient information accurately
• Perform advanced clinical tasks under supervision (e.g., sutures, catheterization, EKG)
• Organize exam rooms and maintain equipment; stock supplies
• Participate in quality improvement and care-management initiatives
• Deliver age-appropriate care across the life span
