Job summary

United Hospital Center is seeking an LPN to provide nursing support in an outpatient clinic. This role involves direct patient care, screening, and accurate documentation as part of a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities include administering medications, assisting with exams, and collaborating with physicians and nurses to ensure quality care. A valid LPN license and BLS certification are required, with 20 scheduled hours weekly and day shifts.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license as required by the state or multi-state LPN license via eNLC.
• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Screen patients and take vital signs as part of clinic visits.
• Administers IM, subcutaneous, and oral medications as ordered.
• Assist with examinations and procedures as needed.
• Document patient data accurately in medical records.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Support staffing and patient needs to ensure smooth clinic flow.
