Job summary

Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates is seeking a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support clinic operations and patient care for individuals of all ages. Responsibilities include rooming patients, immunizations, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and coordinating with providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited Medical Assistant program or qualifying RMA program with required experience and certification documentation.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Active Minnesota PN license verified through Nursys at submission.
• Current BLS certification is required for LPN candidates.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, record information, and support clinic workflow.
• Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed by providers.
• Collect specimens, perform phlebotomy, and conduct laboratory tests as needed.
• Provide telephone support, coordinate prescription refills, and facilitate communication between patients and providers.
• Support front-desk check-in, inventory management, and prior authorizations.
• Perform X-ray duties if qualified and authorized.

Education

Current BLS certification

Minnesota Practical Nurse (PN) license verified via Nursys
