Job summary

Witt/Kieffer is seeking an Ambulatory Training Specialist/EMR Educator to develop and deliver training materials for practice staff and clinical support staff. The role includes on-site, classroom, and virtual training, ensuring EMR workflows enhance physician productivity and patient care.

The candidate will work with physicians, nurses, and other staff, creating curricula, responding to questions, and supporting process improvements across ambulatory sites.

Qualifications

• Clinical background as Medical Assistant or LPN.
• 2–5 years of clinical experience.
• Educational, training, presentation and listening skills.
• Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records and other software.
• Experience in physician practices.
• Excellent communication, decision making, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with practice personnel to facilitate training on the EMR.
• Develop, prepare, and lead training sessions in group and one-on-one settings.
• Create and maintain learning curriculum for new and existing staff.
• Coordinate communications on system updates with management.
• Create e-learning tips and training materials.
• Document, provide feedback, and handle questions.
