Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Within first six months, obtain one of CMA/EMT/NCMA/NCCT/NRCMA certifications.
• EMR experience is preferred and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assure efficient patient flow through the site and prepare exam rooms.
• Assist MD/APP with procedures such as ECG, venipuncture, immunizations and wound care.
• Document reason for visit, allergies, smoking history and pharmacy information.
• Notify MD/APP of significant changes in vital signs or symptoms.
• Maintain inventory and prepare exam rooms for subsequent patients.
