Qualifications

• Must be CMA or EMT.
• Experience assisting with patient flow and exam-room prep.
• Ability to obtain and record vital signs accurately.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and identify patients.
• Obtain accurate vital signs per standards.
• Document visit reason, allergies, and history.
• Inform MD/APP of significant changes or acute symptoms.
• Set up equipment and prepare rooms for next patient.
• Assist with referrals, transfers and discharge processes.
• Assist with ECG, venipuncture, immunizations, and sterile procedures.
• Handle prescriptions as directed by MD/APP.
