Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Proficiency with computers and with registration/scheduling and call center software.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for practice visits and treatments in line with physician schedules and UMMS policies.
• Register patients and verify demographics and insurance information.
• Obtain referrals and authorizations as needed and document in EMR.
• Prepare and coordinate outgoing referrals and provide patient with charge estimates and policy information.
• Assist patients with MyPortfolio engagement and education and coordinate patient communications.
