Job summary

Duke Health is seeking an Ambulatory Operations IT Analyst, Sr. to support analytics and business intelligence for ambulatory services including primary care and urgent care clinics.

This role partners with COOs, VPs, and department chairs to deliver data-driven insights that inform decision making and continuous improvement. The Senior Analyst will engineer data acquisitions, develop dashboards, and translate complex findings into actionable recommendations across Duke Health Integrated

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent technical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis and related fields in healthcare preferred.
• Proficiency in moderate to complex SQL queries and BI tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support senior leadership with analyses to manage performance of strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with leadership to address operational challenges via data insights.
• Translate data insights into actionable strategies and improvement plans.
• Serve as SME for one to two domains and develop data storytelling.
• Create visualizations and dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.
• Identify, procure, and validate diverse data sources for ambulatory operations.
• Develop design documents for data mapping and transformation processes.
• Perform gap assessment between business requirements and data availability.
