Job summary

The EMT-B must carry out care per statewide protocols, operate ambulances within safety rules, and maintain certifications while delivering courteous, professional service to patients and collaborating with EMS partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current MA Basic EMT certification in good standing.
• 2–4 years of prior experience preferred; 0–1 year required.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care per policies and protocols.
• Assess injuries/illnesses and provide BLS on scene and during transport.
• Operate ambulance safely and comply with laws and policies.
• Complete vehicle/equipment checks and maintain cleanliness.
• Accurately record patient care and submit required documentation.
