Job summary

Cataldo Ambulance Service Inc. is seeking an EMT-B to provide safe response, basic life support, and transport. You will assess patients, treat on-scene and during transport, and document care in accordance with state protocols.

The role requires strong customer service, clear communication with EMS and hospital staff, and reliable attendance. Candidates must hold MA EMT-B certification, have a high school diploma or GED, and comply with background checks and driving record standards.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of prior experience preferred.
• 0–1 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in accordance with policies, statewide protocol, and standards of care.
• Assess injuries/illnesses and provide basic life support on scene and during transport.
• Attend to all patients in a courteous, professional manner.
• Operate the ambulance safely and in compliance with laws and company policies.
• Complete daily vehicle and equipment checklists and ensure readiness.
• Accurately record patient care and submit required PCR documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, EMS agencies, physicians, hospitals, and the public.
• Maintain knowledge of EMS principles at the basic level.
• Attend mandated trainings and maintain certifications and driving record.
