Job summary

Cataldo Ambulance Service Inc. is seeking an EMT-B to provide safe and efficient response, treatment, and transport of all patients requiring emergent or non-emergent medical services.

This role includes assessing patients, administering basic life support, operating ambulances, and documenting care. The EMT-B will deliver care on scene and during transport, follow statewide protocols, maintain certifications, and participate in required training while upholding company policies and high

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current MA Basic EMT certification in good standing.
• 2-4 years of prior experience preferred; 0-1 years required.
• Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in accordance with policies and protocols.
• Assess injuries/illnesses and provide BLS on scene and during transport.
• Operate ambulance safely and in compliance with laws and company policies.
• Complete vehicle/equipment checklists and ensure stock, cleanliness, and readiness.
• Accurately record patient care and submit PCR documentation daily.
• Communicate effectively with patients, EMS, physicians, hospital staff, and the public.
• Attend mandated training and maintain certifications.
