Job summary

Cataldo Ambulance Service Inc. seeks an EMT-B to provide safe and efficient response, treatment, and transport for emergent and non-emergent medical services.

The role focuses on patient assessment, basic life support, ambulance operation, and accurate documentation of care. You will follow statewide protocols, complete vehicle and equipment checks, maintain certifications, coordinate with hospitals and EMS partners, and uphold high standards of customer service while working under supervision

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of prior EMS experience preferred
• 0-1 years related work experience required

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care per policies and standards
• Assess injuries/illnesses and provide BLS on scene and during transport
• Operate ambulance safely according to laws, policies, and rules
• Document care and submit PCRs daily
• Maintain vehicle/equipment readiness and stock levels
• Communicate with patients, EMS agencies, physicians, and hospital staff professionally
• Attend required training and keep certifications current
• Maintain attendance and perform daily housekeeping at bases
