Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current MA Basic EMT certification in good standing.
• 2–4 years EMS experience preferred; 0–1 years required.
• Experience with computer systems and basic software (Outlook, Word, Excel) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient EMS response, treatment and transport on scene and during transport.
• Deliver quality patient care per clinical policies, protocols and standards.
• Perform BLS assessment and interventions according to protocols.
• Maintain vehicle, equipment, and supply readiness and cleanliness.
• Accurately document patient care and submit PCR paperwork daily.
• Communicate effectively with patients, EMS agencies, hospital staff and the public.
