Job summary

Cataldo Ambulance Service Inc. is seeking an EMT-B to provide safe and efficient response, treatment, and transport for emergent and non-emergent calls.

You will assess patients, administer basic life support, operate the ambulance, and document care in accordance with policies and protocols. The role requires MA EMT-B certification, 18+ years of age, ability to lift 125+ lbs, and proficiency with basic office software.

Qualifications

• Current MA Basic EMT certification in good standing
• Valid MA driver's license with clean driving record (annual check)
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to lift 125+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
• Willingness to pass background check and MA CORI and drug screening
• Experience with computer systems and basic MS Office applications

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in accordance with policies, protocols, and standards of care
• Assess injuries/illnesses and provide BLS on scene and during transport
• Attend to patients in a courteous, professional manner
• Operate the ambulance safely in accordance with laws and company policies
• Perform daily vehicle and equipment checks and ensure stock/cleanliness
• Document patient care and submit PCRs accurately and timely
• Maintain communications with EMS, hospitals, and other responders
• Attend mandated trainings and comply with company policies and guidelines
