Job summary

Cataldo Ambulance Service Inc. seeks an EMT-B to provide safe, efficient response, treatment, and transport for emergent and non-emergent medical needs.

You will assess patients, administer basic life support, and document care while operating ambulances per policies and protocols. You will perform vehicle/equipment checks, maintain records, and communicate effectively with patients, EMS partners, and hospital staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current MA Basic EMT certification in good standing by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, OEMS.
• 2–4 years of prior experience preferred; 0–1 years required. Computer systems experience including web-based applications and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in accordance with clinical policies and protocols.
• Assess injuries/illnesses and provide basic life support on scene and during transport.
• Record patient care and submit required PCR documentation daily.
• Operate ambulance safely following company policies and laws.
• Complete vehicle and equipment checklists at shift start and maintain cleanliness and stock.
