Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. seeks an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician to respond to emergencies and non-emergency calls while delivering high-quality care. You will assess patients, provide basic life support, and stabilize individuals for transport to medical facilities.

Role requires operating ambulances, coordinating with emergency services, maintaining equipment, and accurate documentation. AEMT course and state licensure are required, with BLS and additional certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed AEMT course and licensed as AEMT in the operation state within 120 days of hire.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Preferred: PHTLS, PALS and ACLS certifications with renewal within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls quickly and efficiently.
• Assess patient conditions and determine nature of injuries or illness.
• Provide basic life support and stabilize patients for transport.
• Operate ambulance and coordinate with other emergency services.
