Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, delivering high-quality care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities include on-scene assessment, delivering care with EMT skills, documenting patient information, maintaining a safe environment, and collaborating with allied health and public safety personnel. Prior healthcare experience and state AEMT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• National or State AEMT certification.
• CPR/BLS certifications.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• EMTs assess patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information and treatments while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use EMT skills to provide care with equipment and procedures.
• Operate an ambulance in line with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image and relations.
