Job summary

Garden City Healthcare Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position overseeing the overnight nursing shift. The role emphasizes supervision of staff, adherence to standards, and direct patient care in a skilled nursing setting.

The RN will manage documentation, safety protocols, and coordination with the DON/ADON while ensuring high-quality resident care and family communication. CPR certification and PCC knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Current California RN license, CPR certification; PCC knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing staff during the assigned shift and ensure quality care.
• Oversee documentation, incident reporting, and compliance with policies.
• Monitor residents for changes and notify physicians as needed.
• Coordinate with DON/ADON for nursing services and staffing.
• Promote a calm, resident-centered environment and ensure safety and infection control.
