Garden City Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift on a part-time basis. The role focuses on safe patient care, assessment, planning and evaluation using established nursing processes. You will collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure high standards of care.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, patient/family education, and timely communication of changes in condition. Required RN license, BLS, ACLS; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid State RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

Responsabilités

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct patient care within scope of practice and guide patient/family teaching.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and monitor hemodynamics and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the DOU. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He/She communicates with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current and valid State RN License.

2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

3. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
