Job summary

Hyatt Palm Springs is seeking an enthusiastic server to provide friendly, courteous food and beverage service in our outlet. You will greet guests, take orders, describe menu items, suggest add-ons, and ensure timely service.

You will operate Micros POS, handle payments, verify IDs for alcohol, clear and reset tables, and assist with opening/closing duties while maintaining a clean, safe work area in compliance with Azul Hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol and have Safe Serve certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders.
• Describe menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods; upsell where appropriate.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables; maintain a tidy dining area.
• Operate cash register/POS, handle payments, and provide accurate change.
• Verify IDs for alcohol and ensure compliance with age restrictions.
