Job summary

Azul Hospitality is seeking a friendly and professional server to provide high-quality food and beverage service in a fast-paced hotel outlet. You will greet guests, take orders, describe menu items, and ensure accurate payments while maintaining spotless dining areas.

This role requires strong communication, leadership, and multitasking skills, with the ability to work in a team and uphold safety and service standards. 21+ and Safe Server certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have excellent leadership capability and customer relations skills.
• Must be detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests in a welcoming and friendly manner.
• Take guest food and beverage orders.
• Describe menu items, ingredients, and methods of preparation.
• Suggest menu products to customers.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
• Verify customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
• Ensure that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages.
• Operate a cash register/POS and receive payment from customers in cash or credit card, accurately counts and provides change to customers.
• Assist all guests professionally and courteously, with the highest quality of standards for customer service.
• All other duties assigned by manager or supervisor.
