Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a compassionate Caregiver in Minnesota to provide routine daily care for residents in a respectful and dignified manner, aligned with each resident's service plan. You will support ADLs, assist with transfers, monitor well-being, and help residents engage in activities within a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities include observing changes, communicating with supervisors, and maintaining infection control while upholding resident rights and privacy.

Qualifications

• Must meet all state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds and assist with transfers.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility.
• Move residents using approved techniques and equipment, ensuring safety.
• Communicate changes in condition or incidents to a supervisor promptly.
• Encourage socialization and participation in activities.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and provide compassionate care.
• Observe resident emotional state and report changes to the nurse.
• Follow infection control practices and safety procedures.
• Check resident needs per service schedule and respect their preferences.
• Support during fire drills and other safety procedures.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.
