Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide routine daily care services to residents in a senior living environment in Missoula, MT. You will support residents with activities of daily living, assist with mobility, and help maintain dignity and respect in accordance with the resident's care plan.

Ideal candidates will have experience in home care or long-term care facilities, be able to communicate effectively with residents and team members, and adhere to infection

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and mobility.
• Assist with moving/transferring residents using safe techniques.
• Communicate information and changes to a supervisor promptly.
• Assist residents to walk with or without self-help devices as instructed.
• Encourage participation in activities and outings; assist as needed.
• Respond promptly to resident alerts and requests for care.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the nurse.
• Follow infection control practices and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Check resident care needs per service schedule and follow resident preferences.
• Participate in safety drills as required.
