Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is hiring caregivers to provide routine daily care to residents in a compassionate, respectful manner in line with each resident's service plan. The role emphasizes dignity, safety, infection control, and timely communication with nursing staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, transfers, social activities, and responding to resident needs while maintaining confidentiality and following facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility while maintaining resident dignity and respect.
• Assist with moving and transferring residents into and out of bed, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
• Communicate appropriate information to a supervisor immediately.
• Assist residents to walk with or without self-help devices as instructed.
• Encourage residents to socialize and participate in scheduled activities and outings.
• Respond promptly to resident alerts, needs and requests for care.
• Observe emotional condition of residents and report changes to the nurse.
• Follow infection control practices and maintain a safe environment.
• Check residents per service schedule to meet personal care needs.
• Ensure resident safety by assisting in safety drills.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.
