Job summary

Qualifications

• 6 months or more of caregiving or home care experience.
• State and federal requirements for this position must be met.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and mobility.
• Assist with moving and transferring residents using proper safety techniques.
• Communicate incident reports and changes in residents' condition to a supervisor promptly.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and outings and assist as needed.
• Respond to resident alerts and requests for care in a timely manner.
• Monitor residents' emotional state and report changes to the nurse.
