Job summary

The DoubleTree by Hilton McLean Tysons is seeking a Cook for the AM shift to prepare and cook food items in accordance with B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group's high quality standards.

You will provide support to other cooks and ensure compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining food quality, presentation, cost control, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel kitchen. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and culinary training or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College and/or culinary degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1 year of progressive cook or kitchen experience preferred in a hotel setting.

Responsibilities

• Food Quality and Production: ensure highest level of food quality and production; perform daily line checks and audits.
• Presentation/Menu Changes: maintain presentation standards and be aware of menu changes and use records.
• Cost Control: follow procurement guidelines and help manage food costs within budget.
