Job summary

Èlephante Scottsdale is seeking an AM Line Cook to join our back-of-house team in Scottsdale, AZ. You will prepare and cook menu items, maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, and support the kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes and timely service.

Ideal candidates have prior line cook experience in high-volume kitchens, the ability to stand for long periods, and flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.

• Completion of company-provided in-venue Line Cook training.
• Possession of a valid Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain.

Position Overview:

We are looking for skilled and motivated AM Line Cooks to join our back-of-house team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring each dish meets our high standards for quality, presentation, and flavor. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

• Completion of company-provided in-venue Line Cook training and possession of a valid Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous culinary experience strongly preferred, particularly in high-volume kitchen operations.
• Demonstrated ability to execute line cook duties effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic culinary environment.
• Physical capability to stand, lift, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat and cleaning chemicals.
• Strong focus and adaptability under pressure in an ever-changing, high-energy atmosphere.
• Flexible availability, including the ability to work morning shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
