Job summary

The iconic Arizona Biltmore, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking an In‑Room Dining Server at our Phoenix property. You will prepare, transport by bicycle, present, and serve room service orders with the highest service standards.

We value team members who deliver friendly guest service, maintain menu knowledge, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards. Weekend/holiday availability is required; prior hotel/resort server experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• At least one year of hotel/resort experience, preferred.
• Maricopa County Food Handlers Card
• Title IV Certification, preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver all orders to the correct guest room within the prescribed time period.
• Complete all side work during shift as designated by captains, supervisor or manager.
• Ensure that all orders have correct and proper items before delivery.
• Assist captain and room service staff when needed.
• Maintain standards of cleanliness and proper care of all supplies.
• Have a complete understanding of menu items available through room service.
• Maintain a hospitable and professional communication with guests.
• Assist Buspersons with clearing dirty trays on property.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize risk to guests and associates in emergencies.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

The In‑Room Dining Server is responsible for the preparation, transportation via a bicycle, presentation, and service of room service orders ensuring the highest service standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Professionally and with good and friendly service deliver all orders to the correct guest room within the prescribed time period following the guest's order placement.


• Complete all side work during shift that is designated either by captains, supervisor or manager.


• Ensure that all orders have correct and proper items before delivery.


• Assist captain and room service staff when needed.


• Ensure standards of cleanliness and proper care of all supplies.


• Have a complete understanding of menu items available through room service.


• Maintain an atmosphere of pleasant hospitality with guest and in room service area, including clear, concise and courteous communication.


• Assist Buspersons pick up dirty trays on property.


• Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and associates, damage to our property or the property of others. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.

This position is full-time. Availability must include weekends and holidays.

EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE

• Prior Server experience


• At least one (1) year of hotel / resort experience, preferred


• POS system experience


• Experience with Agilysys (POS System), preferred

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
