Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality—Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix—seeks an In-Room Dining Server to deliver, transport, and present room service orders with excellence. You will ensure correct items, uphold spotless service, and assist staff to meet guest expectations in a luxury hotel setting.

The role requires a prior server or hotel/resort background, plus agility with POS systems and strong guest communication. Weekend and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maricopa County Food Handlers Card preferred.
• Title IV Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all room service orders to guest rooms professionally and on time.
• Assist captain and room service staff as needed.

Hotel Website, Instagram, FacebookWhat you will have an opportunity to do:The In-Room Dining Server is responsible for the preparation, transportation via a bicycle, presentation, and service of room service orders ensuring the highest service standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProfessionally and with good and friendly service deliver all orders to the correct guest room within the prescribed time period following the guest’s order placement.Complete all side work during shift that is designated either by captains, supervisor or manager.Ensure that all orders have correct and proper items before delivery.Assist captain and room service staff when needed.Ensure standards of cleanliness and proper care of all supplies.Have a complete understanding of menu items available through room service.Maintain an atmosphere of pleasant hospitality with guest and in room service area, including clear, concise and courteous communication.Assist Buspersons pick up dirty trays on property.Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and associates, damage to our property or the property of others. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.This position is full-time.
