Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a part-time Retail Associate for the Arizona Biltmore property in Phoenix. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service, maintaining POS and cash handling accuracy, and keeping the sales floor orderly.

Prior retail and customer service experience, especially in upscale settings, is preferred. The position requires Mondays and Tuesdays 9:45am - 6:15pm availability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of store point of sale, end-of-day paperwork, and cash handling.
• Check in daily receipts, stock organization, and merchandise display.
• Keep store clean and organized, assist in opening/closing procedures.
• Attend monthly product knowledge meetings and set up sales floor daily.
• Answer phones, take special orders, and ring sales per Forbes and LXR Service Standards.

About our property: The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the “Jewel of the Desert” since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration. It has over 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space spread out over the beautiful property, 9 food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 2 poolside bars, a gelato shop/café, and in-room dining), a luxury spa, and 7 pools including a 65' waterslide. What you will have an opportunity to do:

• Maintain accurate technical knowledge of store point of sale, end of day paperwork and cash handling skills.
• Accurate check in of daily receipts, steaming of garments, organizing back stock and displaying of merchandise.
• Actively partake in store cleanliness and straightening of merchandise at opening and close of business daily.
• All team members to attend monthly product knowledge meetings.
• Prepare sales floor, music, lighting and dressing rooms for business daily.
• Answer phones, assist in taking special customer orders, and ring in sales following Forbes and LXR Service Standards.
• Create positive teamwork ethics.
• Support and recommend other plaza stores with an enthusiastic approach.
• Understand and follow the policy for checking out the bank and store key.
• Understand and follow all policies for parking, professional attire and use of company equipment.
• Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and associates, damage to our property or the property of others.
• Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.

This is a part‑time position, you must be available to work Mondays and Tuesdays 9:45am - 6:15pm.

What are we looking for?

• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), preferred.
• Experience: Prior retail experience, preferred.
• Experience: Prior customer service experience, preferred.
• Experience: Experience in an upscale / luxury environment, preferred.
