Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a dedicated dishwasher for the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix. This full-time role requires you to wash dishes, maintain cleanliness, and support the kitchen team during a 4:30pm–1am shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior dishwashing and hospitality experience are preferred.

Training on health and safety standards will be provided. The employer emphasizes equal opportunity and provides travel benefits in addition to Pyramid's programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• At least 1 year of prior work experience in dishwashing or hospitality.
• Hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather pots, pans, and utensils and wash in a 3-compartment sink or pot machine.
• Maintain cleanliness of dish area, including detergents and equipment.
• Wash and sanitize kitchen surfaces and equipment; dispose of trash properly.
• Assist with inventory of linen and supplies; follow health and safety regulations.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

• Gather pots and pans to wash in a three (3) compartment sink or a pot machine; breakdown, spray, load, unload dishes, glassware and flatware as they arrive in the dish area, then return items to the appropriate storage location.
• Maintain chemical detergents in all applicable equipment such as dish washers, pot washers, and routine dispensers.
• Wash baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables and cutting boards; sweep and mop all floors, wash all floor mats; clean kitchen equipment to include but not limited to dish machines, ice machines, pot machines, prep tables, hot boxes, refrigerators, etc.
• Separate, remove, and properly dispose of trash and garbage, including potential biohazard cleanup.
• Maintain inventories of linen and remove soiled linen.
• Comply with regulatory departments and with departmental and property policies and procedures, to include Health Department, OSHA, Fire Department, etc.
• Complete mandatory health and safety training as required by the company or regulatory entities.
• Perform other job-related duties as required by management.

This is a full-time position, and you must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays. The shift for this position is from 4:30pm-1am.

EXPERIENCE

• At least one (1) year of prior work experience, required
• Previous dishwasher experience, preferred
• Hospitality experience, preferred

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES

• Maricopa Food Handler’s Card ServSafe Certification, preferred
