Job summary

Tice Valley Post Acute in Walnut Creek, CA is hiring a friendly Receptionist for the full-time AM shift. You will greet residents, families, and visitors and manage front-desk duties in a compassionate healthcare setting.

The role requires excellent communication, strong organization, and the ability to multitask. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, pay rate $19.00–$20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, friendly, and welcoming demeanor
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
• Basic computer and office equipment skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous healthcare or skilled nursing facility experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome residents, families, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Assist visitors with sign-in and facility procedures
• Maintain a professional and organized reception area
• Provide general administrative and clerical support
• Receive and distribute mail, packages, and other deliveries
• Assist with scheduling and maintaining calendars as needed
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and facility staff
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information
• Assist with other front-office duties and administrative tasks as assigned
