Job summary

The Kelly Birmingham, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is seeking an energetic part-time Morning Shift Server to deliver outstanding guest service in our hotel restaurant. You will take and deliver orders, process payments through the PMS, and assist with maintaining a clean, well-stocked dining area.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of server experience and a valid Food Handlers Certification. This role supports a fast-paced environment with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year server experience in a similar operation.
• Food Handlers Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class service to guests with engagement and thoughtfulness.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and accuracy.
• Generate checks through PMS and process payments efficiently.
• Maintain daily organization of the restaurant and replenish supplies.

Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
• Take and deliver guests' food and beverage orders with enthusiasm, regularly revisit table to ensure beverages are filled and ensure guest satisfaction
• Generate checks through PMS and receive payments efficiently for each guest
• Maintain daily organization of the restaurant, ensuring all condiments and supplies are replenished
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all restaurant and service workstations

Physical Demands:

• Kneel, stoop, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 – 75lbs
• Work most of the shift standing and moving about in the restaurants and kitchen areas

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year Server experience in a similar role, size of operation preferred
• Food Handlers Certification required
