Job summary

Harvard University’s Harvard Business School is seeking a Reunion Class Manager to independently oversee high level Reunion classes and engage alumni volunteers. You will plan and execute class events, coordinate with donors and leaders, and manage special projects while supporting fundraising goals.

Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required. The role involves on-site presence for large campus reunions, collaboration with development and alumni relations teams, and a focus on delivering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in event planning and volunteer management
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) experience is a must

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and execute an individual portfolio of high level, complex Reunion classes
• Engage with reunion volunteer leaders and committee members to plan meaningful experiences
• Coordinate class receptions, dinners and events during on-campus reunions
• Recruit and maintain relations with alumni volunteers to coordinate reunion activities
• Collaborate with Reunion & Leadership Giving Officers to support fundraising efforts
• Manage a portfolio of special projects and strategic initiatives
• Build strong relationships with alumni, volunteers, vendors, and other constituents
• Engage in on-site reunion management (80–100 hours/week 2–3 times a year)
• Assist with class management budgeting and fee setting
• Handle other duties as assigned
