Job summary

Harvard University invites applications for the Reunion Class Manager within the Alumni Relations Reunions team at Harvard Business School. You will independently manage a portfolio of high‑level reunion classes and coordinate with volunteer leaders to craft meaningful on‑campus experiences.

This role partners with Development to support fundraising, oversees budgeting and events—from receptions to dinners—and requires on‑site presence during reunions, with evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of directly related and specific experience in event planning and volunteer management.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) experience is a must.
• Education beyond high school may count toward experience.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and execute an individual portfolio of high level, complex Reunion classes
• Engage with reunion volunteer leaders and committee members to plan and create a meaningful and holistic reunion experience
• Provide expertise in coordinating and executing events during on-campus reunions
• Recruit and maintain close relations with alumni volunteers to coordinate reunion activities
• Collaborate with Development to support fundraising efforts
• Manage special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned
• Establish strong working relationships with alumni and vendors
• Engage in budgeting and fee setting for class management
• On-site reunion management, 80-100 hours/week 2-3 times a year
• Build trust by being on-site and engaging with colleagues
• Other duties as assigned
