Job summary

UMBC seeks an Outreach and Business Coordinator to serve as the front door for the George and Betsy Sherman Center in Baltimore. You will coordinate outreach with alumni and community partners, onboard new employees, manage payroll audits, and execute Sherman Center events.

The role supports MECLP and other programs, works with the Assistant Director for Operations, and offers a strong benefits package and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 2 years of administrative staff experience
• Ability to independently handle multiple tasks and set priorities
• Experience coordinating events

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach campaigns and maintain contact lists for alumni and community partners
• Manage event logistics and support on campus events
• Support onboarding and payroll processes for student and staff employees
• Provide general administrative support including travel reimbursements and website/digital content tasks
