Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Alternative Delivery Director-Transportation to lead large, complex infrastructure programs within HDR's Transportation Business Group. You will oversee pursuit and execution of AD projects, negotiate terms, and coordinate with HDR leadership, clients, and partner firms to deliver mega projects with a focus on risk management and value creation.

This role requires 15+ years of engineering leadership, a PE license, and a deep understanding of design-build and P3

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in related field.
Professional Engineering registration required for leadership roles with technical design.
Experience leading diverse teams and working with multiple HDR leadership levels.

Responsibilities

Report to the Project Delivery Program Director and manage pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
Drive approvals in compliance with HDR policies and risk framework.
Coordinate with HDR staff resources, client relationships, and contract terms.
Negotiate contracts with legal and risk inputs for AD projects.
Engage with Transportation Leadership on contractor relationships and pursuits.
