Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced leader to head the Transportation Business Group's Alternative Delivery division.

The role focuses on pursuing and delivering large-scale transportation infrastructure projects through traditional and alternative delivery methods, including design-build and P3 structures. The candidate will navigate HDR's matrix organization, collaborate with policy makers, clients and internal teams, and drive commercial and technical success across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
• Must maintain professional registration (Architecture/Engineering) for leadership roles overseeing technical design.
• Experience in development and management of diverse teams.
• Ability to collaborate with HDR leadership, managers and staff to drive business class outcomes.
• Demonstrated commitment to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Project Delivery Program Director and ensure effective pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive approvals in compliance with HDR policies and risk frameworks.
• Collaborate with HDR policy, staff resources, and contract terms with internal and external partners.
• Negotiate contract terms in coordination with HDR Legal and Risk Committee inputs.
• Coordinate with Transportation Leadership on client discussions for upcoming projects and collaborations.
• Lead or review MOA actions for AD Projects and serve as Principal-in-Charge on select projects or contracts.
