Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking a dedicated ALN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Reception-age child in a Monmouth school. This ongoing morning role runs Monday to Friday, suitable for someone patient and nurturing who enjoys working with young learners and supporting them to engage in classroom activities.

Qualifications

Experience supporting ALN/SEND is desirable.
Experience working with Early Years or Reception-age children.
Patient, nurturing and understanding approach.
Reliable and consistent, with safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

Providing 1:1 support to a Reception-age child.
Supporting communication, interaction and confidence.
Helping the child engage with classroom learning and activities.
Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team.
Contributing to pupil wellbeing and independence.
Adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
