Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking caring and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary schools in Bath and the surrounding areas. This role offers flexible supply work or longer-term opportunities, with immediate start dates.

You will work closely with class teachers and wider school staff to support a pupil’s learning, development, confidence and wellbeing in Bath & Wells Multi Academy Trust schools, delivering focused, individualised support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is desirable.
• Experience providing 1:1 support is beneficial.
• Caring, patient and empathetic approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Calm, consistent and supportive manner.
• Flexibility, reliability and confidence adapting to different school environments.
• Availability to work 5 days a week.
• Commitment to equality, inclusion and safeguarding.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to complete one.
• Right to work in the UK.

About the Role

Connex Education Partnership is looking for caring and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary schools in Bath and the surrounding areas. We are working with schools within the Bath & Wells Multi Academy Trust in the area and are looking for Teaching Assistants who are passionate about providing consistent, individualised support.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant looking for flexible supply work or longer-term opportunities. You will work closely with class teachers and wider school staff to support a pupil’s learning, development, confidence and wellbeing.
