Aspire Allergy & Sinus is hiring a Medical Assistant to support allergy, asthma, and sinus care. You will perform tests, injections, vitals, and front‑office tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Responsibilities include patient check-in/out, data entry in EHR, and cross-training for PM-side tasks, authorizations, and schedules across two Texas clinics. Competitive benefits and a team-driven environment offered.

Qualifikationen

• Must have basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Exceptional customer service skills are required.
• Able to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Must be able to administer subcutaneous, intradermal and intramuscular injections.
• Capable of manually taking patient vital signs.
• Maintain professional relationships with patients, staff and the public.
• Remain calm and effective in emergent situations.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs; perform sustained standing/walking.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for travel between clinics.

Aufgaben

• Escort patients to exam rooms; record vitals and medical history.
• Explain allergy testing and treatment protocols to patients.
• Administer injections as ordered.
• Perform spirometry and related testing per protocols.
• Record health information accurately in the EHR.
• Greet and direct patients and visitors; answer calls and provide information.
• Manage clinical inventory and resupply as needed.
• Complete end-of-day reports and logs accurately.
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines at all times.
• Cross-train in front and back-office duties (PM side of EHR, authorizations, scanning, check-in/out, scheduling, enrollment).
