Job summary

MGT is seeking an experienced education professional to provide coaching and leadership in mathematics as the Math Content Coach on the Dayton Turnaround team. This on-site role supports math teachers, mentors school-based coaches, and partners with district coaches to raise student achievement.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in education, a math endorsement, and 5+ years coaching teachers, with the ability to travel to client sites 4-5 days a week within Dayton, Ohio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Mathematics endorsement or demonstrated expertise in algebra.
• Five+ years of professional experience coaching teachers or leading adults.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of standards and student performance to improve math outcomes.
• Analyze standards, data, and practices to identify opportunities for growth.
• Lead design and implementation of scaffolded, standards-aligned instruction.
• Coach teachers and school-based teams through observation and goal setting.
