Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. in Aurora, Colorado, seeks a Systems Support Technician (Programmer) to support Field Technicians by programming Communicators and Alarm Panels using manufacturer software.

The role requires troubleshooting, data entry, and coordination to keep systems accurate and in service. Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of call center or technical support experience, a high school degree, and proficiency with Windows/Office.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Competency in Microsoft Windows / Office.
• Must be a team player and able to work as business needs dictate.
• This is NOT a REMOTE position.

Responsibilities

• Take inbound calls from technicians requesting assistance in programming alarm panels and communicators remotely.
• Register communicators and ensure accurate communication between locations and Mastermind.
• Complete data entry into programming and MM when required.
• Resolve technical issues through research and communicate findings to appropriate parties.
• Ensure MM data and panel programming match paperwork and place accounts in service.
